Disciplined is great on this chassis because you get a lock…or if you already have one, you can take the barrel roll, and because you’re an x1 link it to a red Focus action. There’s really no need to take the Storm Squadron Ace unless you want that Talent slot, and there’s really no better Talent out there than Disciplined. For similar reasons, consider fitting one of your x1 swarm or a support ship with XX-23 S-Thread Tracers. Conversely, this chassis *needs* to get locks, so if you are finding that hard cause your generics have low initiative, consider Passive Sensors instead for the same cost. If anyone has any insight on why these generic squadron names were chosen, let me know! There’s clearly a themed connection here, but I don’t know why that’s associated with this ship…unless…OH MY GOD “Storm” is just an anagram of “Strom” isn’t it?! The idea that the TIE Advanced x1 is a prototype for the TIE Interceptor later seen in Return of the Jedi has been bouncing around for years, but doesn’t always play well with the timeline, as TIE/INs have been spotted as early as the Jedi: Fallen Order game, which takes place in the Empire’s early days.
